Its a nice enough fragrance but smelling it makes me crave for something much fresher, something like Armani's 1996 masterpiece, Acqua di Gio. You won’t really notice any difference between a product purchased from Perfume’s Club and a product purchased from a seller in our new Marketplace.

other bottles i have are my faves too, esp paco rabanne and eau sauvage, but this is something else.Once Giorgio Armani Eau Pour Homme EDT has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate projection, musky, mossy and green fragrance with spicy, woody and soft floral accords. Not knowing anything about fragrances I assumed it would always be available for me to purchase, only to find out years later the original formula would change. Protect your fragrance from direct sunlight and heat, otherwise it could alter the composition of the fragrance and escape. If you come across an original vintage of this holy water, do not hesitate - I doubt that you would be disappointed.

While this and Eau Sauvage are quite similar - the much stronger, leafier basil and prominent clove in this really distinguish the two, making this a more rounded scent in the opening and mid. The similarities with Eau Sauvage are quite evident, though Armani pH is different enough to come across with its own personality, and not a mere copy. Have both the old and new versions - in a side by side test, they did a pretty good job with the new one. Extremely versatile and can be worn for formal occasions such as meetings and evening dinners or casually in the warmer months. Fans of the aforementioned should approach Armani Eau Pour Homme positively, but with curbed enthusiasm because this stuff is the antithesis of a powerhouse.Best times of application would be during Summer daytime but it could be rocked during summer nights too. Simultaneously, the oakmoss and vetiver develop adding an inky, bitter, mossy, forest floor evocative and very green, grassy touch. The perfume offers a fresh and citrusy opening with bergamot and lemon, but also petitgrain, a very French style like Pour Monsieur by Chanel.

Roger Pellegrino - the perfumer who made this - says the idea behind Eau pour Homme was to 'take the ingredients of an Eau de Cologne and use them to make an Eau de Parfum. I love Eau Sauvage, but sometimes it feels a bit serious; this seemed just as brilliantly fresh and herbal, but a bit more uplifting (in a laid back kind of way) in the opening, which is really saying something.
