About this deal

The Anker Nano used to be available in an Apple Lightning version, but those days are thankfully behind us. The iMuto takes a little bit of a different path when it comes to its design because most high capacity portable chargers take the long length kind of form factor but the iMuto is more short and stubby. Best of all, it charges at the fastest speed available on most of your favorite phones (excluding Oppo/OnePlus's unusual SUPERVOOC battery). At only 100g, the Anker Nano is the smallest, but it still packs in plenty of power for that weight. But if I want to watch a movie and the next socket is 5 meters away from the sofa, then the iMuto battery is just the thing.

There are plenty of combination power bank and some other device, but the Tylt Bottle 2 actually makes sense because we're usually carrying an insulated water bottle anyway, so we might as well screw a battery onto the bottom. Then I would rather use the big power bank and make sure that I definitely have enough power with me. There are still some technical specifications of the device on the underside of the additional battery. In my opinion, a sharp drop in voltage is a sign that the battery is reaching its limits in terms of performance or that the charging electronics are not working properly. In terms of performance, nothing stands in the way of quick charging with the Qualcomm standard, as the power bank even delivered over 3,3 amps in the endurance test with the USB load resistor. While the spec isn't as impressive as the imuto, the Juice feels like a different type of product: less a one-box-charges-all power bank, more a use-and-abuse battery to fling around in your backpack. However, the front runner in terms of charging power was again the Zendure Powerbank, which with 10,4 watts brought a good 3 watts more power to the iPad than the iMuto Powerbank. It’s much slimmer and lighter than the imuto and Juice (it weighs just 131g), so it’s more of an everyday power bank.

Lithium-ion batteries can be harmful when dumped, so solar-powered alternatives are more eco-friendly.You need a lot of power: Thankfully, the battery on the Tylt Bottle 2 isn't so big it adds too much weight, but that also means it isn't powerful enough for multiple charges. Anything lower than 2 Amps, like a 1 Amp wall charger, and it’s going to take a full 24 hours to recharge it. Our favorite power bank has a 10,000mAh battery, and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has a 5,000mAh battery, so the math should be simple, right? Partly, that's thanks to the in-built LED torch, which comes in particularly handy in dark tents or in low-lighting outdoors.

To test charging times and claims, we charged a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and an Apple iPhone 15 to determine how many charges each battery offers these devices. It has a good, strong strap to carry the bottle, though we would have liked a lid that was easier for sipping. Still it feels sturdy and has a nice bright set of lights on the side so you can always see how much power you've got left in it.
